We visited The Lion 's Inn Restaurant on Tuesday 11th June 2024. For me it was a trip down memory lane, my old Dad used to go there in the 40s and 50s when it was the Cedars and I actually sat in his old seat to have our meal. The meal was absolutely first class we had a starter each which was the size of a main meal. Then I had a Lamb Madras and my wife had a Lamb Shashlik absolutely fabulous, best Madras I 've ever had. The Staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. I highly recommend the Lions Inn. I will never forget that night. Thank you. John and Sue Brady.
I absolutely love Lions Inn. My friends and I are regulars, but they treat new customers just as well. The service is perfect, the timing between courses is always just right, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend this place, it is absolutely faultless. Do not let the occasional bad review deter you, as everyone has their off days. Lions Inn has managed to survive a pandemic and continues to provide top-notch service four years later. Thank you Lions Inn, I cannot wait to return.
Visited lions inn on Saturday night ,not been for a while ,still needs a lock of paint outside but gave it a go ,had a great time seated in bar area four tables all taken ,staff very friendly had poppadoms two meals two nanns and vegetables side dishes ,all washed down with two pints and four good size glasses of wine ,64 pounds which is very reasonable in these times ,excellent atmosphere will return again soon
I ordered butter chicken and chilli cheese naan, wasn't worth any of it. I couldn't see the cheese in the naan only small cut ups of chilli, and the butter chicken was so sweet I felt like I was eating candy but coconut one. Wasn't happy with the food paying that amount of for food not worth it.

We were staying on the outskirts of Coventry and found this well reviewed restaurant nearby. It looked very run down from the outside so we were tempted to leave, but the meal turned out to be very good. Neither of us likes spicy food, and the pasanda and korma were lovely.
We ordered takeout and had one of the best Indian meals I have ever experienced. Everything was freshly prepared and remained hot. The flavors were amazing and I will definitely be a repeat customer from now on. I was very impressed.
Let me start buy saying i have eaten in every curry house in Coventry...this curry was faultless ...service by George was excellent could not fault anything food sevice price all spot on
It is very worst place even stuff is very inresponsible they don’t know who to talk with customer. Nerver recommend anyone. Please avoid form this place
