The Loaf and Ale - Réservation de table

Amazing place. Staff is always busy. It just took a little while to receive our meals after ordering. Wait staff didn't bring milk amd suger with the pot of tea. Food was amazing. The spinach salad was the best cranberry almonds feta 10 out of 10. Mushroom coliflower cream soup 7.5. Will dine again. Can't wait to try a Yorkshire pudding.

Start with the negative and end on a positive. Skip the Sunday roast beef. My wife ordered it and shook the table trying to cut it. Tough cut. She wouldn't let me complain because we were with a group of friends and was embarrassed. Everyone else's had fish and chips or sandwiches and they were fine.

The fish tasted off and chips were obviously refried. The steak and Guinness stew was good but the Yorkshire pudding was stale and tough as leather. The waitress was terrible- just only smiled when we paid and left. Not too many choices in town but will wait for a while to return.

Friday night when it gets busy. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking. Our appetizer didn't arrive until 40 minutes after we ordered it and our main dishes came out cold. It seems like the restaurant could use more staff, especially on busy nights like Friday. Réservez une table maintenant

First time here !The meals we got were Shepard pie and beef stew chicken wrap and chicken strips.All were great and tasty. I found the prices were just a tich high for the serving size.But we ventured out to try something new. Service was wonderful too.

In the last two years, every time I have ordered from this restaurant, I have received the incorrect order. It has happened consistently and it is my fault for expecting things to improve. I will not be dining here again.

I was passing through town and decided to stop at this restaurant for a steak dinner on the patio. I was completely satisfied with my meal.
