My husband had never had lobster before so we did an online search and this place came up. The website we had looked at said it closed at 9:00 PM, so we thought we had lots of time when we arrived at 7:00 PM. We asked to sit outside on the patio, which faced the water. Soon after, a very nice waitress came to our table to take our orders. We told her that we were there for the lobster meal and it was my husband's first time trying it. She took our orders and when she came back with our drinks and she asked if we were in a hurry, as they were just making up the lobster at the time and it would be about a 25 minute wait. I told her that we weren't in a hurry and asked if it was ok for them as...

we decided to treat ourselves to a fresh lobster lunch. There was not much good to report about our experience. The lobster was not entirely fresh, the baked potato was not fresh but reheated, tough and dry, the "homemade" tartare sauce was a paper thimble of sour cream. We were served "fresh" milk for our tea which curdled when we put it in the tea. Our tea went cold whilst waiting for fresh milk to arrive. When it did arrive the waitress was not sure if it was fresh or not so we opted for the little single serve creamers instead. We would not recommend this place in any way. It cost us over $50 and we needed to get food elsewhere after the experience because we were still hungry after leav...

My Wife and I visited here in late September 2016. It was a quiet evening with only one server and a few occupied tables. The server was very friendly and pleasant. The menu was limited and I would rank this establishment moreso as a pub than a full-on restaurant. That said, the food was hot and fresh and the beverages were cold. We had chicken quesadillas and beef sliders. The quesadillas were freshly made and quite tasty. The sliders were also freshly made (not a frozen pattie). The side of potato chips was underwhelming and homemade fries or another handmade potato element would have been better. The prices were very reasonable and, overall, a very pleasant evening.

While a great resturant, I'm reviewing this as a bar. We like happy hour and good pubs and there was only one on Trip Advisors and with this one, you now have two and a great second one. See the pictures. Even a couple high tops. Beer on tap are IPA's ale's etc. we found a number we liked (does that tell you anything). In NS you need to order food so we got the spicy pepperoni and Poutine French fries with cheese curds (and we are not even in Wisconsin). (See pictures ) We will be back for Dinner but the reviews already say great and with the one year limitation, I will be unable to review for a beer--- A great choice Réservez une table maintenant

We realized that our night in Pictou was off-season but were flexible and knew that this would be our best bet for a dinner with a water view. The waitress was adorable! She was extremely busy since the restaurant deck filled up quickly all at one time - but we were in no rush and having a good time! I had the fish and chips and hubby had the lobster roll - both were good. Hubby had the apple/puff pastry dessert and although it was not made fresh - it was still lovely! Wishing our waitress an easy birth [yes - she was pregnant] and a healthy baby!!

We chose this place for dinner from among the restaurants on the waterfront in Pictou, and it was a good choice. The atmosphere and decor were welcoming and comfortable and our waitress was friendly and helpful. We had steamed mussels as a starter - very yummy. Don't remember what we had for dinner but everything was very good and reasonably priced. Seafood is their specialty and they do it well.

Only restaurant open in town at 8pm and were rushed to have the kids out by 9pm. Food was adequate but nothing special. Ordered takeout fries and coleslaw after our meal which were very overpriced. The quantity of coleslaw served with fish dinners is negligible. it's gone with one mouthful.

We walked over from our B&B and found a friendly welcome, nice atmosphere and a big screen TV with the Blue Jays in action. My wife ordered the rib steak (which she really enjoyed) while I had the pan seared scallops (very tasty) along with...More Réservez une table maintenant

Very slow service, 3 tables came in behind us and were served ahead of us. Reason? Fryer room. Three other tables all had food that required fryer space. Think they forgot our order, not even an apology......and when food arrived, it was cold!
