Expensive place. The potion of salmon salad has a few thin pieces of salmon and a the rest of the portion are green leaves which full the rest of the small box. After spending 15$ I left the place feeling hungry. By the end I figure out that the Cheif prepares food with the bare hands. I saw he was taking crab meat without gloves and putting it on the roll. No sure about the masks requirement in the state of Maine, but watching how somebody is trying to mess your salad with the bare dirty fingers is not a good scene. The same person accepts the payment. What a pleasant surprise!! We just went here yesterday, the food was so fresh and delicious. I had the lobster roll which was overflowing and came with chips a very uniquely made original salad, their own pickled green tomatoes and pickle. And a slice of watermelon to top it off. I tried the crab roll and it was so good I ordered one to take home for dinner!! Such a great unique festive little courtyard to eat in. A must try for sure
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy some tasty lobster rolls. We found everything we ordered to be delicious and reasonably priced. The staff at Lobster Shack are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place. They are following Covid protocols well, although it can get a bit crowded due to the small size of the restaurant and its popularity.
Google said you have arrived at your destination on the left but it wasn 't there. The only restaurant there was the Rock City Cafe! No Lobster Shack anywhere near there! Very disappointed. Since we couldn 't find it, the single star is more for Google than for the restaurant.

The owner served us after hours and was very nice. The clam chowder was superb, with lots of clams. The crab melt was on a home made whole grain bread, with a big scoop of fresh crabmeat. Served with a mustard pickle, rice salad and big piece of warm cornbread. Superb.
This place is tucked away around the corner, but such a good find!! Cute little outdoor seating area. This was our first taste of lobster in Maine we were not disappointed! Super tasty super friendly staff!!
The gazpacho, lobster roll, and half and half roll (lobster and crab) were exceptional. The chef mentioned they had them first, so there! I would give them a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.
Some of the best food I've had all summer, great people , I can't say enough about them. When in Rockland check them out.

Excellent little hole in the wall for jam packed lobster rolls and some tasty side dishes.
A little open air corner, but the food is very good.
