I’m giving this place 3 stars for the service because the staff member at the front was friendly. However, I was really disappointed with the chicken salad. I expected a salad, but it turned out to be more like a tuna sandwich, just with chicken. It was terrible. Finding hair in my food didn’t help either! This will be my first and last visit, and I regret leaving a negative review, but I spent $29 on two awful sandwiches—what a waste of money. Plus, it was so hot inside that I could barely breathe, and I had to leave right after getting my food.
I was saddened to hear that some of their products were not made in house: macarons for instance. I chose a fruit tart and am m&m cookie. The strawberries on the tart appeared old, and the pudding middle (which should be more like a custard) tasted like a boxed vanilla pudding mix. Both the tart and the cookie were very chemically tasting. Though, the owner was very kind and his cheer made for a wonderful start to my day. Unfortunately, in light of the products' composition and flavors, I will not be coming back.
I don't want to leave a negative review just to harm this small business's rating. However, I was charged $13 for a basic ham and cheese croissant, which is quite surprising. Unfortunately, the quality was poor; the cheese didn't taste real, and the croissant wasn't fresh. I'm sharing this feedback to inform the management that the price and quality of their products don't align. You can find the same item for $3 at other local bakeries.
I had a fantastic experience at this local sandwich shop and bakery. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding thanks to Amy, who took our order with a warm and friendly attitude. The location in downtown Upland is perfect, and the shop has a great local vibe. There’s also convenient parking available behind the store. I highly recommend it and will definitely return for lunch!

Really lovely customer service. I went in because I wanted a buttery croissant. Then, the smell of fresh bread! So good. I bought several pastries and rolls, all delicious. The atmosphere is charming, not pretentious. For a fancy, less hometown feel, go to Crème in Claremont, which has the best damn chocolate chip cookie on the planet.
I walked in right when they opened and was greeted with: our empanadas just came out of the oven, would you like to try one? I instantly knew this was gonna be a good place to eat. They gave me 2 empanadas, chicken and cheese wich I loved and curry. 100% recommend it ?
Delicious empanadas and baked goods. They have the empanada version of the Filipino Turon (usually plantain and jackfruit in egg roll then deep-fried) but it sells out real fast. The guava and cheese empanada filling is house-made from real guava, not syrup.
This is one of the best bakeries I have been to. The service was outstanding. The workers were so kind. The macaroons were amazing. And everything takes like HEAVEN! I am NOT joking. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Everytime I come to get my hair done near the bakery I alwaays stop by to get my turkey croissant with some chips a coke, their pasta salad on the side is soooo good
The food is always very good with a homemade flavor. The owner and staff are very personable and welcoming.
