I visited this last night for the third time. I am so impressed that I have taken various family and friends with me every time, if nothing was too much effort until enzo the chef made fresh suppe so that my father could try to house because he was not with us. what a generous way to do. so far between us we had breakfast, coffee and cake, dinner and drink all delicious, so my experience and thought amazing food, fabulous staff and management fantastic venue and great worth I will be back with more friends at the weekend, if I can wait that long
Visited here for the first time this week and it certainly won't be the last! Despite being busy, we were seated quickly and our orders taken. The food arrived relatively quickly given that it is freshly made and was fabulous. We had wine with our meal which was very reasonably priced too which is unusual for a place of such high calibre. Service was great too given that it was incredibly busy and staff are new. Attentive and friendly is a great start! Looking forward to our return already. Well done to all involved! x
on this hot sunny Sunday you have deceived the view and immersed as an ideal box stop. from wallsend to lock then went on to foot to the view. first visit and was beautiful and view of the marina in the sun episch. only had pint, but the personal seemed beautiful and saw the gaffa chat on customers who always had good interaction. plan a Friday evening for both of us for eating and drinking. can not wait.
We tried the breakfast last week which was amazing. We returned again yesterday for lunch I had steak burger and it was absolutely fantastic, my husband had the fish cakes (smoked haddock) and he really enjoyed them and my daughter had chicken pizza again it was beautiful. Staff are all lovely, I don't mind waiting a while for food as its all cooked fresh when ordered.

Decided with Suzanne to visit the lock and sample the menu this evening. Both had the burger and fries along with a couple of glasses of vino. The food was fantastic and served very quickly. We both had a wonderful time and were looked after by Casey... well done Casey you were magnificent
I think it all depends on when we went yesterday afternoon and there were many friendly staff there, we had a coffee and a muffin, we will definitely eat again for as my son went back today and had the burger and said it was the best burger he had eaten in a long time.
Had a sharing platter tapas there yesterday afternoon absolutely delicious!!!! Friendly staff, beautiful views. Such a shame they close at 5pm on a Sunday would be the perfect location to watch the evening unfold.
Had a lovely get together with our friends .what an amazing view of the marina .lovely manager and staff.meals were beautiful very tasty.thanks to leona the waitress who made us so welcome .

Food was very tasty! Service was attentive. Great location. Well worth a visit. And thank you to the lovely lady who gave me a treat after she found out it was my birthday! X
