The Locksbrook Inn

after a few really bad visits it seems to have picked up a bit again. that's our local, so let's keep trying. eating was nice yesterday when a little slow on the arrival. they were short staff, but seemed to come in order. app for order seemed not to work properly and complained to me 3 times, but always said the payment failed, they were happy to pay me back. eating was nice enough. the external structure they build is good, meant that it was warm enough to sit outside yesterday.

Delicious food, great service and cosy ambience. Heke and Steak were particularly good! The only criticism I can think about is that for such a good steak, with a whole (? tomatoes and a mushroom as a side was subduing. Maybe the cook should think about something? The steak was delicious!

a beautiful late roast dinner for us. good portions. well cooked. the attentive staff is a beautiful atmosphere especially for families. really nice pub. would recommend.

The food was nice, but a bit pricey for what it was. I think nearly £17 for a burger is too much.
