I was in the Main Street area and wanted to try a different place offering veggie burgers. After searching around, I found the Locus Cafe which had one for $15.00. My first impression when the dish arrived was not very good. The bun crust on the outer layer was broken into varies pieces and peeling off. I am not sure if that indicates a lack of freshness but it was not appealing. Generally, the dish was very greasy with a lot of oil. The stir fried veggies were cloaked with an abundance of oil. This restaurant works well for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike! That said, the housemade veggie burger won't disappoint anyone...both in terms of taste, and quantity! There's always an interesting range of daily specials, and fun drinks! With an option to sit outside (albeit on a fairly busy street!), in a slightly more private indoor enclosed area, or in the main restaurant, it works well to be able to hear conversation at your table.
