I had a wonderful experience at this charming local pub with friendly staff and patrons. We visited on our first night of holiday and enjoyed an open mic event with an electric atmosphere. I even got up to sing! On our second visit, the staff warmly welcomed us back and remembered us from the previous night. They made our pub experience even better by even treating our dog. Keep up the great work, guys - you truly made our holiday special.
My oh my what a beautifully presented and cooked meal. The service was friendly and efficient just enough time between courses. It was home cooked from scratch with the sweet potatoes and salmon fish cakes and vegetables done to perfection. It might be a pub but well worth a visit. I would definitely go back again. The exterior of the restaurant is very appealing, but unfortunately the park is no longer there. Upon entering, I was disappointed to see that there were no menus on the few tables and no staff in sight. It was possible that it was quiet because it was a Sunday. In any case, we decided not to stay to try the food.
We decided to check out this restaurant as we were moving to the area. It has quickly become our go-to spot, with a group of us meeting here most Saturdays. The only downside is that it loses a star for its limited daytime opening hours. Réservez une table maintenant
We had another appointment in the area so we called in for a drink. Good refurbished outside area and plenty of parking was on hand. The inside had a sports bar feel and was set up for the Football. The cider really did hit the spot!.
Excellent little family friendly pub, also happy to let you bring in your dog. Staff are amazing and friendly and pub is very clean and maintained. Always looking to put activities on, a true gem hidden away in Wiltshire.
This pub is fantastic! It is clean, the staff is friendly, they have 2 dart boards, and a lovely outdoor seating area with protection from the elements. This is definitely my new go-to spot.
