Not what it was Visited here last weekend for a pre-dinner drink. Had booked in advance but was told to sit anywhere (not sure what would have happened if it was full). Our waiter was sloppily dressed and forgot to take an order from one guest (only 4 of us on the table). Ordering off menu was straightforward in the past but met with confusion on this visit. Drinks were all deemed relatively average and a rum and coke was served without any ice. Decor lovely but staff training and standards lacking.
Didn't have any food, but the cocktails were really good, and the family eating at the table next to us were clearly very happy with their meal! Nice atmosphere, and nice to see that it was popular with families (with very young children) as well as couples and groups of friends. Will definitely go back there! Lovely place and a great addition to this quiet little town. Staff are always friendly and cocktail are very tasty. Price is not outrageous not sure what people expect to pay for a cocktail these days? Shame that food is not served everyday but we will definitely be back another weekend!
