During our first visit, I ordered a curried chicken salad wrap, which was filled with plenty of lettuce and curried mayo. I was surprised when I had to wait an unusually long time for it, especially since there were no other customers waiting for food. I later learned that they were heating it up, which was unexpected. It never crossed my mind that a wrap, typically served cold, would be warmed. I’m not opposed to that, but it was an odd experience, resulting in a mix of warm and cold fillings. The food from the marketplace Café is amazing, but I am less than pleased with the bakery. I wanted to order a cake for my daughter 's birthday. It was expensive, but still at a competitive price. However, they wanted $10 more to put raspberries on it.I was fine with paying that because fruit is expensive and it is not a part of the usual cake. But then they wanted another $10to put some freaking icing roses around the bottom of the cake and another $2.50 to write happy birthday, which I found to beboth greedy and petty. Preordered a panini, got there, waited 15 minutes in line to get to talk to someone to find out they leave online orders in the back by the back door. There’s no sign anywhere to notify you of this, it doesn’t tell you when you order, and the waitstaff seem to be aware but don’t care. So I ordered a $17 cold sandwich that I tipped for online for no apparent reason. Other than that it was decent for a cold panini. The baked goods here are incredibly delicious and indulgent! Update 12/22: I just went in for my guilty pleasure, the honey bun, despite feeling a bit under the weather from working outside in the cold. The woman at the counter offered me a hot water with lemon, and I gratefully accepted. She mentioned it would help soothe my scratchy throat, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Her thoughtful gesture made my day so much brighter. I'm a customer for life, and I’ll be spreading the word to everyone! Réservez une table maintenant
This is one of my favorite spots! Everything is incredibly fresh, and their lavender lemonade is the best! They have a wide selection of breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and bowls, as well as muffins, scones, and sticky buns. There’s seating available both indoors and outdoors, and the staff is always super friendly!
