The Meat Wine Co Barangaroo

This was the first time I tried the restaurant at Barangaroo came here for a birthday lunch with girlfriends and we all were quite happy with experience. The service was decent. I found they weren’t that attentive at times despite the fairly empty restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, nice and bright and perfect to socialise with a group. We started with the garlic bread which was made from toasted buttermilk buns and garlic butter a tad different to usual garlic breads, but nevertheless still very yummy. Dinner here tonight was fantastic I had mentioned when booking that it was a special occasion as I wanted table by window we got this request and our dessert came with lovely chocolate anniversary greeting. Apart from this meal was excellent: halloumi entree with freshly baked bread, rump eye steak for me and ribs for my partner meat perfectly cooked. Raspberry and apple pastry superb and very good cheese platter. Service faultless. we've dined at meat and wine many times and never been disappointed. View over the water lovely as sun set.

This place is well known for their meat! And I’m so glad I got a chance to visit here. <br/ <br/ The steak was super juicy, tender and full of flavour. It went well with the chips on the side! Chips was crunchy! The seperate dish of salad was also perfect. With the harbour view, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed. I mean come on perfect cocktail drink, juicy steak and the view! What else can you possibly ask for??? Everything is there!

Food and service was amazing! Ribs were cooked perfectly, however tomahawk steak was a bit over cooked making it slightly dry. Would definitely come back soon. Made reservations off the fork for 50%.

Have a wide selection of wine. Ordered the sharing platter for Appetizer n some mains, the pork rib was good, but steak was a bit dry, not a lamb person... But good for sharing n reasonable price.
