The experience at the Melting Pot was disappointing. It was way too expensive for the quality of food, the ambiance was poor, and the environment was quiet, in a bad way. Our server was very accommodating (probably the only good thing about our experience) but service overall was very slow, despite hardly any customers in the restaurant at the time. We waited a total of 30 minutes before the first course was even served. We went for the special Thursdate which they claimed would include a table full of rose petals and candles, however, there was 1 candle only. The ambiance for the special Thursdate was depressing and nowhere near what was marketed. Finally, the food was very bland and cheap....
We had the four course meal. The server was friendly and helpful. The veggies from the cheese course were a bit sad and wilty. Four small broccoli florets, two baby carrots cut in half, 3 slightly brown pieces of celery. Salad course was excellent. Main course was good except the shrimp came out already gray with black edges. We didn't even attempt to eat it. Chocolate course was excellent as always. All in all not a bad experience but the quality of some items has gone down since the last time we ate here.
Benjamin was a great waiter. He made the experience well worth the visit. Conner the bartender made an awesome blackberry sangria which is not even on the menu, per our request. Chelsie the manager was great. We asked for her to come over so that we could tell her how well we were treated tonight. The hostess was very welcoming also. This was my fiance 1st time and they made the night out of us. Thank you so much! If I could a million stars I would.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our 2 year dating anniversary and it was everything we could have hoped for. We did the 5 course Ultimate Celebration experience and it was well worth the money! Our waiter Nick was amazing, very attentive personable. He explained everything very clearly made our first experience at The Melting Pot perfect!

my girlfriend loves this place...but im the one that pays...i was ok with the place, because we had privacy....last 2 times there, seated in a area. crowded and noisy....will be booking again, in march for her birthday.....if there is no privacy, i will never book here, again......
The service was very slow and I didn't feel very cared about when I was served. It was more of used material and didn't feel like the server was caring about us and was just pushing to get us out of the way. And was gone for 30-45 minuets at a great lengths at a time.
This place was a great date place. Very private tables. It did end up being quite expensive, but the food was very good and the quality time was rich. Wirth going out for a treat for a special occasion.
Overpriced. It was fun to have the experience but it is not worth the at all. I will not be returning. Food was mid at best. Save yourself 230 (for 2 people) and have a fondue night at home.
