what a pretty little pub! we had delicious home boiled eating from wendy. the torte was a joy and apple and plum crumb was just delicious. hubbie had the sausage and maic and a pudding from the special board that brought him back to school days. what a great sound. beautiful renter and we sat next to another couple, also on holiday that were really nice! very recommend this pub for eating, ambiente and service.

I found this pub by chance, but so glad we did. it was a busy tee-time when we arrived, but the renter was fantastic and very accommodating, although we had to wait one, we got drinks and one table to sit. when the food came, it was so delicious and tasty, including the puddings. the pub itself has a beautiful atmosphere a small jewel so close to pickering

Popped in for an evening meal. Brilliant and very welcoming staff. Food was absolutely fantastic, lovely and freshly cooked. Service was great. Next time we are holidaying in Yorkshire we will be coming back to eat here. Highly recommended

Booked for Sunday lunch today. Excellent meal and very friendly staff. We were able to take our dog in a d the staff were lovely with her, bringing her a bowl of water. Highly recommended.

good veggie vegan options (not only mushrooms! . cozy atmosphere. dog-friendly. beautiful people behind the bar. What else could they ask for?
