This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! From the warm welcome to the delicious food, our entire evening was wonderful. I highly recommend this place. The staff were friendly, helpful, and funny, and the food was amazing. The menu offers a great variety, and everything we ordered was delicious. The lasagna was the best I've ever had, and my partner's steak was also excellent. We have dined at many amazing places, but the food quality here is outstanding. Thank you for a lovely and memorable evening. We will definitely be coming back regularly.
We phoned on the off chance as we were staying at the Airport hotel and were delighted. We were really well looked after. The steak was great and really reasonable and the burger was one of the best we've ever had. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the pub was cosy and relaxed. Even though it was busy we didn't feel at all pressured. Service was remarkably quick and we took a walk into Castle Donnignton afterwards which looked lovely with the frost and Christmas lights. Would highly recommend.
We visited today as a group of 5 for the carvery. I had made a reservation in advance as we are not from the local area, and we were searching for a good pub halfway between Solihull and Chesterfield. I'm thankful we made a reservation as it was quite busy! The carvery was fantastic, the meat was delicious, and all the sides were cooked perfectly. The chef was very friendly, and the waitstaff were attentive. It was great value for the money, and we will definitely be returning! Thank you.
Lovely little traditional pub with top quality food and great service. We went as a family of 4 the night before our flight. We booked a table and were seated and served promptly, then our food arrived quickly and they had a 2 large parties in. We were very impressed, the tuekey soup, was amazing and the burger was one of thes best my husband had tasted. We will definitely be back again, before our next holiday. I visited on the 17th of September, and overall the food was nice however my father had some complaints about the brussels sprouts being slightly undercooked when he had them. Though the service we received was good I believe the waitress being called Alexia (the girl with blonde hair) she checked if our food was ok, her smile put a smile on our faces and she was kind and attentive! Would visit again.
Lovely dog friendly pub with friendly staff. 26 of us for a Birthday meal. Meals arrived promptly. Everyone remarked on the excellent quality of the food. The sirloin steak was probably the best steak meal I've ever experienced. Delicious. Wife had gluten free lasagne which was also delicious.
