We arrived here for a 2 night stay for a wedding (Fri sat night). PROS: Lynsey the manageress she 100% makes it so fabulous. Lovely, welcoming, looked after us brilliantly. Due to some staff shortages, she was doing what seemed like 10 jobs at once! We ate on one of the nights food was delicious! Great service tasty food. Breakfast was also spot on set us up brilliantly for the day ahead on the Saturday! The Willow room which we stayed in was fab ideal size, lovely cosy too! The whole 2 night stay was extremely reasonably priced the place itself has a great feel about it like a big cosy house! CONS: If you like total darkness, take an eye mask for sleeping as the rooms can get really bright...
After an awful journey taking 4 hours we met up with 4 other far traveled friends to begin a holiday nearby . we had done our research and booked Lunch several weeks ahead explaining we all had a long journey and time may be an issue. The welcome we had was superb, nothing was too much trouble for us weary travelers and the chef even stayed longer so we 6 could eat . Fantastic beautiful meal indeed and well worth the traffic chaos (I struggled to finish) the pies were superb, and pork loin melted in the mouth.Lots of local information from the manageress was invaluable and helped us. The location is fabulous . So much going on in this pub. every night something different. be sure to visit ....
found this place by infestation, called for something to eat, a new employee took our order, but then informed us the kitchen was actually closed for a few hours, but they were happy, our order as one out, but would be about half an hour or we could break the order. we are glad that we were not the first class to eat, we both had the yorkshire wagyu burger with speck, which was absolutely fantastic. the burger and the chips all cooked to perfection with fresh byalate and homemade relish. we sat in some comfortable wing chairs watching the world go with a fantastic playlist playing in the background, the coworker was fantastic and we appreciate the boss/owner/whomever, who accommodated us by...
Welcome to the arrival, great know about eating and drinking. the rooms looked well furnished. large outdoor area for the coming summer. the food was well presented and both classes had great taste. the dining room was open and airy, all the tables had a lot of space between themselves. bar area comfortably with armchairs to sit the open fire. well done at the oak tree worker

absolutely first-class service from start to end! menu was simple, but fantastic choice and tasty! the staff all kind and ready to go out of that to help them and nothing was too much annoyed. we have a visit or a stay without doubt! I'll be back in a heartbeat!
this is a nice place to eat or go for a drunk. the staff and manager are really friendly and chatty they love to get to know them. eating is nice, I would highly recommend. they also make beautiful accommodation
We stayed here to attend a local wedding. We really couldn't ask for any more from a venue. Staff are lovely, rooms are beautiful and clean. Facilities are all in good order. I would highly recommend this place.

Fabulous night's sleep in a beautiful big comfy bed, lovely massive spa tube too. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating especially Carys. Top notch food and great location.
