The Old Crown At Kelston

This is our top pub. We've celebrated every big birthday here for decades. My husband proposed to me here, it is our favourite place to come in the summer too as the garden is enclosed. We bring our granddaughter here and there is always someone to play with (she got free ice cream after making friends with the owners' little girl) so it is her favourite too now. There's fish to watch and a swing chair to play on. Parking: Large carpark across the road. Kid-friendliness: Open enclosed garden. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps

Great village pub. Lovely garden and lodge setup absolutely beautiful on a sunny day. Friendly service. Food is decent for a pub, verging on gastropub but not quite. Combine with a walk up Kelston Roundhill for a fantastic day out. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
