Came here to celebrate my birthday, originally booked a table of 7 for outside but was too hot so asked if we could change to eating inside, not a problem sorted us a table quickly. Sam was our waiter and was great!! Very attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing! We had roast, signature burger and hunters schnitzel . Going back to have each one for myself. Thank you Em and her kitchen team for my birthday pudding of banoffee pie and to Chris manager) for the delightful delivery of “happy birthday “. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend. Great friendly service and delicious food. Thank you!
Really lovely place. Arrived a bit earlier than booked but still shown to our table. Food and service was excellent. Service was what I describe as 'non intrusive ' meaning that they were fast, pleasant and not constantly hanging around. Food came out hot and it stayed that way until I finished mine. Music was proper background music as we were able to talk comfortably, even when they started to get busy. Lots of niches to sit in. Looking forward to going there again. It 's mid to high in the price range for those who need to know.
Second time we stayed here. Bartender/waiter Sam was really great! Very friendly. We only had breakfast so I can't comment on lunch and dinner, but breakfast was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the bed. The mattress was too hard for me. But you can't please everyone. My partner had no problem with the bed. We will definitely stay here again when we visit our family in Bridge.
Had a lovely meal here after a very long drive. Our food was really good thanks to Em the chef; my steak was cooked medium rare to perfection and the service was fantastic too thanks to Sam our waiter who was very friendly and attentive. It’s too far from home for us to return but would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!

Went here very unexpectedly and very last minute. Our party of six were easily accommodated and made very welcome. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful of food we ate! My pork belly main was a real treat and my friend’s steak was cooked to perfection. Would recommend and return.
Sam was amazing as our waiter today, very friendly and attentive! We sat next to the window which was great (we love people watching). The food was impeccable, perfectly cooked burger with extras and the gammon was to die for!! Hats off to the chef, Em, for an excellent lunch. Will be back soon!
Lovely venue. Good choice of starters, mains and desserts. Delicious food; generous portions. Manager looked after us extremely well. Well recommended and will definitely go back.
Excellent food. Service was Brill. Lovely Rubabarb an Apple Gin. Dog friendly so that's a bonus. Highly Recommended this Inn.
