My Hubby turned and wanted to celebrate with friends. He wanted to celebrate with a lovely meal and what better place to go than the Old Orleton which is a minute walk from our house. There were of us planned. We apprached David a few months prior to the event and we met to discuss our requirements. Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were delightful, everyone looks happy to be here. The food was excellent! We had breakfast and dinner here during our stay. Try the traditional fish with really crispy batter with home made mushy peas and tartar sauce. The chips were the best ever..really big chunks of potatoes, crispy on the outside warm and fluffy on the inside! The twice cooked beef had lovely reviews from our colleagues. Lovely place. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is cooked whilst you wait so fresh and HOT and no processed stuff either. ! The jacket potatoes and choice of fillings are fabulous. Best I have ever had. We have visited twice before over the past 3 years and we were not disappointed with our visit this time. Would highly recommend.

I was glad to see that the menu of the hotel offered me a selection of starters and main courses. eating was delicious and high quality. the hotel breakfast offered a vegan complete English breakfast and that was excellent, beaning, mushrooms, oash brews, vegan sausage and roasted brot plus toast with vegan butter.
booked a table in the old orleton last night for eating and drinks, greeted by the beautiful and friendly staff who was eating amazing and so well presented, few drinks in the cozy bar after, great atmosphere. highly recommended if they are looking for a beautiful and relaxing place.
would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel, our room was clean and tastefully decorated, my wife loved the four poster bed and spa bath. the staff was very friendly and helpful and eating was excellent, vegetarian and vegan options available. I'm sure you'll be back.
First visit for me but with friends who have been before..An evening meal celebrating a combination of a birthday, friend's wedding anniversary as well as for the festive season.Quality food served by attentive staff with a relaxed atmosphere highly recommend a visit

impressed with the choice of the vegan options that were clearly marked. had vegan nachos as a common starter who were beautiful and then moved mountain burger with vegan halloumi and beetroot jam that was also very good. it was hard to decide what to do!
