The Old Ship W6

Quite a few tables were reserved and we thought we’d have to make do with a table on the balcony in the cold but Eggsie (one of the staff) saved our night! After politely informing us that the balcony was about to close, she proceeded to find a place for us to squeeze in by talking to the people at a large table. Now that we were warm and cosy, I was able to properly catch up with my friends and even proceeded to order food with our drinks. I would definitely go back to this pub and bring more people, especially when it has staff like Eggsie who goes the extra mile!

Fabulous food; Fish and chips was excellent, as was the Bangers and Mash and the Steak Ale Pie. Great Guinness. Superb service from Mel, with a smile. Prompt, friendly. A great spot to visit.

Very good lunch in a very pleasant space with a lovely view. Service a tad slow but very pleasant staff m.
