Best restaurant ever! Me and my partner visited here whilst on holiday in York as it was near our hotel. The staff were excellent from the minute we walked in friendly and attentive. We went for the early bird menu. We shared the vegetable spring rolls and sweetcorn cakes which were very tasty. For mains we had the veg and tofu railway fried rice and the Thai red chicken curry. We both said it’s the best Thai food we’ve ever had! We had ice cream for dessert, they had some interesting flavours including yuzu and Thai tea which were both lovely! If you’re in York you need to go here! We will be back!
Popped in for a very quick lunch on a Saturday as we only had 40 minutes to get some food whilst attending a conference nearby. My summary: seated straight away, very friendly staff, well priced and interesting menu, food arrived quickly (but not too quickly! and it was so tasty. We both had pineapple fried rice, which was served in half a hollowed out pineapple. Put a smile on our faces! The waiter was very happy to check for my friend's food allergy before confirming our order, everything was so easy. I'll be returning with other friends and family now, so I'd thoroughly recommend!
Great service, great food. All cooked fresh to order, not a speck of oil/grease and absolutely amazing flavours. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed. We had chicken satay, duck spring rolls (the best I've ever had) pad Thai and panang curry. All amazing.
Lovely little restaurant near the walls if York. Second visit and the food was as lovely as the first time we came. Reasonably priced and good service. Big shout out to the waitress who came running after us after my husband left his phone on the table.

We’ve had good meals here before (when eating in the restaurant) but don’t bother ordering for delivery. Smaller portions, very slow and cold by the time it arrives. We spent £50 this evening and are thoroughly underwhelmed with our order.
Excellent food, portions are deceiving, doesn't look a lot, but rest assured it is. Staff were polite, pleasant and helpful Just far enough outside the city centre to be an enjoyable quiet establishment, no noise from outside traffic.
Starter giant king prawns were just king prawns and over cooked. However the main meals were reasonable and similar to other Indonesian restaurants. Overall a pleasant evening.
We had a lovely meal at the old Siam, the food was amazing and the staff were fantastic, Tudor in particular went above and beyond. Will be back again soon.
