I have been to this restaurant many times before since it opened and always enjoyed it but this year I found that it has really gone downhill.We had booked a table and were seated by a member of staff and then no one came near us for 20 minutes.The staff member accused us of just coming in and sitting down and said that we hadn't been served as they didn't know we were there.He was informed that we had a reservation and had been told to sit at the table by another member of staff.I ordered the vegan burger which was described as a spiced vegetable and bean patty on the menu.I have previously ordered this and loved it.The burger I was served was not a spiced vegetable and bean patty and resembled a bit of meat.It had so much red pepper sauce on it that it dripped out when you bit into it.It was totally inedible. Will not be back.
Booked a table for 9pm arrived 5 minutes early, had been seated for over 20 minutes before anyone had approached us, the waiter then had said that no one knew we where sat down yet the other waiter had brought us to the table himself. Eventually got served drinks took 10 mins to come out to add to the situation the fries were greasy. Wouldn’t recommend service is terrible
We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Palma Nova. The service, food and wine were excellent. I would recommend booking in advance because it’s such a popular restaurant. The location is perfect, near the beach, with sea views. There is plenty of alfresco dining, upstairs and downstairs, along with indoor seating if the weather is inclement.
