When a pointed almost half-page positive review in the only state wide newspaper extols the quality of the 'new' Orange Box, off Leighton Beach, it is generally a reasonable to good guide? Nah - tried a casual breakfast visit ... arrived at opening time of 6.30am but told no kitchen until 7am - they managed to get around that to their credit - interesting décor, furniture and location (so we started OK and the young person on coffee etc. - seemed very pleasant but that's probably the best bits) ...I asked for a jug but was given a mug with no spout for hot water, no spoon for the coffee to which the hot water was aerially destined with a splash down or two on the table and my shirt the predi...
The Orange Box is a great new addition to Leighton Beach.The Orange Box is situated next door to the Bib and Tucker beside the park which leads to a very relaxed vibe.It has no sea views but only 50m from the beach.We went on the Monday public holiday and it was very busy.The staff are very friendly and the coffee was good.
This place is super cute and right on the beach. Have been here a few times and always love the service, have even managed to score a free croissant from the friendly owner when he saw me stealing some of my boyfriend's. The eggs are great and the design of the place is super cute.
Wow what a funky quirky feel. So beachy being right next to the freo surf club. Loved the grassed seats, nautical fixtures, the coffee and freshly baked muffins. Wish we had this in Denmark WA. Will be back for sure

The coffee is fantastic here. I've been a couple of times and coffee has been great each time. Also had breakfast which was really nice, and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere & great spot. Close to the beach.

A great little place to gather with friends at the beach. A variety of seating areas and seating options, including deck chairs and a hammock! Cake and coffee in a relaxed, kicked back beach nook.
Great little spot close to beach. Excellent menu and atmosphere. Maybe we were unlucky today? Asked for extra hot coffee got lukewarm coffee. Asked for toast got hot bread.

Visited for the first time & found it resembled a refugee camp with people huddled under blankets & kids & dogs everywhere. The coffee was good but the food was poor.
I am a coffee connoisseur and I must say, my espresso was fantastic! The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great.
