Went here for Sunday dinner yesterday and after hearing so many good things about it we decided to give it a go ourselves,,,,, people are correct in the fact that they say the Sunday roasts are almost as good as a homemade one,,,,, we all tried a different one and everyone was more than satisfied with their choice,,,,, we also had a different starter too and again everyone was more than happy!!! I had no room for dessert although those that ordered one said it was also delicious,,,,, the staff were friendly and attentive so all in all a very good experience and will definitely be returning
had to write tonight after an amazing meal. we were there for datum night and the restaurant 't disappointed beautiful cozy candle illuminated table, steaks were perfectly cooked, and we sat in the beautiful new garden bit after our meal. it actually felt quite magical with the two lights while we had a coffee (and the cheese board)! the euls to hear the hooting. would recommend it and the staff was attentive and friendly. will definitely be back.
we had dinner here on a Saturday afternoon, we did not have such a good pub meal as this in the old, the staff are polite, welcome and very efficient, the eating is first class, most to the point, they want to order all again, but as it is quality over quantity, they are completely after their meal, and very satisfied, have already made plans for a second visit!
on Sunday I visited the orange tree with my family. I ordered the sirloin bark roast and it was amazing. it is rare to get a decent roast today in a pub, so was very surprised by the quality of the meal. the staff was very attentive and made my visit very pleasant. I would recommend visiting the orange tree not only on a Sunday, but on every day of the week.
