The noodles were obviously fried in house and I had to ask for some Chinese mustard (it was amazing, sinus clearing amazing which was quickly served. This is Marlene, Larry's wife. We both really enjoy the gluten-free Asian cuisine here. The gluten-free hot and sour soup is such a delight—fresh and flavorful! While I’m not gluten-sensitive, I’m thrilled that Larry can enjoy the foods he once loved. However, I did encounter one issue. I suffer from spinal stenosis, so I really rely on having a grab bar in the restroom. I was surprised to find that there isn’t one in the ladies' room. We made our reservations back in August and were among the first to secure a table. However, when we arrived at 7:15 for our 7:30 New Year's dinner, we were informed that we would have to wait until the party at our assigned table finished dining. They mentioned that a round table for nine would need to be set up by adding an extra table. After waiting for 20 minutes, we were told that an additional table was necessary. This was disappointing! Sometimes you just crave American Chinese food. The name may seem a bit old-fashioned, but the restaurant is clean. When we arrived, it was nearly empty except for one other group, but by the time we left, it was bustling with customers. We ordered the vegetable dumplings, a chicken and shrimp dish, and General Tso's chicken. Both main dishes appeared to be prepared with the same sauce, which we found to be a bit too sweet for our liking. However, everything was served promptly, and the service was quite pleasant.

This was one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever experienced. To start, the food was flavorless and tasted like it had been frozen for too long. All four dishes were either stale or had an overwhelming amount of cabbage compared to the main ingredients. The waitstaff seemed uninterested and unfriendly. The highlight of the meal was the gnats and flies swarming around us while we tried to eat. Given the poor quality, the prices felt quite steep. Meal type: Dinner.
Food is legit good. Chef and owner are both lovely. We got to chat and meet them. Best chinese food in the area tucked in a little corner that might be hard to spot from the road. I ordered takeout and was impressed by how quickly it was ready. The food was absolutely delicious! The young woman at the counter was very helpful, kind, and respectful. I would definitely return to dine in and to get takeout again.
