I came here for a bite to eat on a Friday afternoon. Been here many times for after work drinks but decided to give their kitchen a go. Was not disappointed waitress was attentive and the food was spot on. I came for lunch with a colleague and there was plenty of choice and it all came out promptly. Out of the 6 dishes we chose, there was only one that to me lacked flavour, the rest were delicious. Overall very happy and will be back another day for sure.
they have a separate menu area for vegans. we had the kichererbsalat and spinatsalat, green lenbolognese, quinoa salat and butternut squash risotto. they were all delicious. they also make some killers specialties mixed drinks. Eating was amazing. they go when they get the opportunity, they won't regret it.
Hi. This may sound crazy. I came out after work last night and got a bit drunk, I had a bag with a new pair of shoes in (cream from Zara) Cinderella has left Just ONE shoe somewhere. I was in The oxford Retreat for a while can you please let me know if you come across it? I would love it back x
A delightful pub located by the river with very friendly staff. Ideal for those traveling to Oxford by train as it is conveniently situated between the town and the station. I sampled the bangers and mash dish and it was absolutely delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
Very limited selection of decent beer (two if I recall correctly) and the music was too loud. Plenty of space though. Given its location and size, this could be a great pub as it once was when it was The Nag's Head.
Right by the train station this little bar is in a great location, had some great food and some cocktails. Cocktails were excellent and food was great too presentation left a little to be desired however.
The places doesn’t take cash no warning nothing ! Wonky tables . Bar staff seem ok ok selection of drinks def better places in Oxford won’t rush back
