Although it's a small place, the staff has big hearts. During our breakfast, I paid it forward to a young mother with a toddler, and we received the same kindness from a father of two. Tasty brunch in a quaint locale made even better by the affordable prices. Good selection of sweet and savory options. We ended up ordering an omelette and a savory french toast sandwich. Did I ever imagine I'd have mac and cheese for breakfast? No, but it was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly, and you could tell they loved the food as much as we did. This place is definitely a hidden gem for unique breakfast options. We also enjoyed the French toast, which was fantastic!
I know The People 's Kitchen isn 't a secret, but maybe because of the size of the place, I consider it one of the best kept secret breakfast spots in Bethlehem. I 've never been disappointed here, and if you want to be happy and full, get the bourbon banana pancakes you 'll thank me later.
Phenomenal service! Came in starving and in desperate need of caffeine after a red eye flight from SF. Our waitress was amazing. Had I gotten any sleep on the flight I?d remember her name. But she was awesome. Kept my tea filled. Took our order quickly. Food was good too. I miss rye bread.
