The Pidgeon Coop Diner

Dropped in for a take out order of simple fare, waited for almost an hour. There was no clear reason why they were so slow as there was only a single table finishing a meal and no obvious need for a big order underway before ours... A regular patron told us that they are pretty slow for anything but ice cream. A second visit is required to confirm.

I visited this restaurant for lunch and found the menu options to be typical of a small lunch spot. The food was enjoyable and the staff was pleasant, but overall it was not a standout experience and the food was not particularly memorable.

The food is fantastic. I have been down a few times now and had different items on the menu and it is all delicious. Would I go back??? That is a definite. In fact hoping to make it back down before I leave for Ontario.

The staff was friendly, but the food was too basic and overpriced for its quality. The restaurant is housed in a very old building that could benefit from some basic renovations. Réservez une table maintenant

The lobster roll is prepared daily with homemade buns. It was incredibly delicious! The island french fries were also freshly made and definitely a substantial meal.
