Loved it here. Could do with some dedicated vegan friendly options, but managed to make a good meal from nachos without cream and cheese, and glad to see good veggie options at a traditional pub like this. Great food, nice atmosphere and a great variety of drinks. Emma/Ellie behind the bar was lovely and so patient with me and my friends. Thanks!
We have been in the pub after the Simple Minds gig on 6/4/2022. Suddenly the live music played Don‘t you forget about me. My mate from Bergen (born in Glasgow) called the pub to play it. Simply great! Aside this best pub in Glasgow and widest whisk(e)y selection of Scotland. A must visit. Feels like your living room.
I was initially on the fence about this place because of bad reviews on tripadvisor. It was actually good! The bartenders are friendly and attentive. I ordered the Scottish tapas (mince and tatties, fish and chips, clapshot) It was all piping hot and tasted fresh. The whisky was also good.
Love this bar, music is fab, great atmosphere. Staff seem nice. It’s always really busy when I’ve been in so often have to queue at the door. Would recommend a visit here if anything more than just to experience it!! Réservez une table maintenant
Fantastic afternoon on a Saturday. Fish n' chips wonderful and huge, Drew Roberson fantastic music and good Glasgow patter. Very friendly. Not to be missed if you are visiting Glasgow.
