I was here for 1 week for my studies. The room is big enough for me and the sanitary facilities are clean. The waiters and also the cleaning ladies were very friendly. A huge compliment to the kitchen, I have a lot of allergies and the chef made my own breakfast every day, as well as lunch and dinner. All you have to do is let the waiters know, they then talk to the chef and he offers you all the possible options. That's really good service! Thanks!
We had a great time at our pre-theatre dinner. The cheese appetizer was delicious, and the lamb was cooked perfectly. The sticky toffee pudding was light and the coffee was flavorful. The menu had a good variety of options. The service was friendly, and the tables were nicely spaced out. It was fairly busy on Thursday, so I would recommend making a reservation. It may depend on what's happening at the theater across the street.
After our last visit, where we very impressed with the value and quality of the food, we were disappointed on this occasion to find that the food had gone downhill. We felt that there was a change in the quality and tastiness of the food between our two visits. However, the restaurant had distanced all the tables well and all staff were trying to maintain distancing.
Absolutely a brilliant find! Very busy for a Wednesday but the staff were able to squeeze us in. Starter of Haggis, neeps and tatties in a whiskey cream sauce was delightful! The salmon on potato croquettes and peas amazing!! And of course finished it off with a traditional cranachan. The flavour mixes couldn’t have been more perfect! Must visit restaurant. This restaurant is a rare find scrumptious food and excellent service. In fact I broke my only have 2 courses rule to have 3 courses. Valerie and Karolina looked after us. Nothing was a bother, they even moved our table to give us a more private and quiet meal. Don’t hesitate to book.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was absolutely perfect. Friendly and cortious staff, not any negative thing to say about this wee restaurant. Thanks for everything, I hope to visit again soon.
Fantastic, cozy restaurant with such attentive staff and gorgeous food. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and dining experience. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a Burns lunch in a smaller function room which was perfect for our needs. The staff were wonderful and attentive and the food excellent.
