The Pirates Rest - Réservation de table

We were on holiday in Penzance this time last year and enjoyed our fish 'n chips from The Pirates Rest, so we returned this year while on holiday again in Cornwall. I have to say the quality is superb, fresh and tasty cod in light crispy batter with excellent chips, not at all stodgy or greasy. We enjoyed them sitting on a promenade bench. I think this is one of the best takeaways we 've ever had, and at a reasonable price. They also have a small cafe if you prefer to eat in. We will definitely go to The Pirates Rest next time we 're in Penzance.

I can honestly say that the quality of the fish chips is great. a piece of fish that can get their teeth in the opposite to the fried panty liners that they sometimes find operated in others. the service is efficient and friendly with good portions for their money. cooked to order so they can get nothing left out of lunch. a good, even golden color with lightbatter. they can even eat in the dining area if they want to experience the true pirates rest ambiente with brot and butter. Go!

About 10 minutes drive from home, passing a not so good local place but worth the trip every time. Everything is cooked fresh to order by the friendly staff. . You can phone ahead and place your order or just turn up and enjoy the banter.

After many failed attempts to eat in the area during our weeks holiday we again decided to have fish and chips. Wow, what a good decision. Freshly cooked to order and delicious. Highly recommended. Réservez une table maintenant

won’t have fish and chips of any where else, travel 300 miles for robs fish and chips well worth. always receive a warm welcome and excellent customer service.

A lovely little fish and chip shop with friendly and helpful staff. So pleased to be able to find somewhere that does excellent gluten free fish and chips.

Have to be the best I have had in a long time. Batter very crispy and not fatty. Chips are cooked with a nice crunchy outer not floppy soggy ones Réservez une table maintenant
