The Pita Pit - Réserver une table

BRING CASH. Pita Pit on 3rd ave has always been good eats and fair pricing but the concern for me is the tips from the debit/credit terminal do not go to the staff. Many of the staff are young students and get a minimal wage I would guess. Wages are at a standstill while cost of living has skyrocketed. Ok sure, the small amount of coins in the tip box do go home with staff but where do the other tips go? After getting a pita recently the employee told me they don 't get the tips and they 're 'not sure where they go '. Maybe they 're misinformed or something else but it seems pretty shady to me they 're not getting paid out for those as well. The employees there are always kind, professional...

I ordered two gyro pitas and called ahead and asked for 2X veggies lettuce, romaine, spinach, green pepper, mushroom, sprouts etc). I received the order and it had like one piece of lettuce and green pepper!? Gross. If I wanted a freaking hamburger bread n meat) I would have went to Burger King. ??. What a waste of money. Not impressed.

My go-to for a quick and healthy lunch most days, as it's conveniently just down the street from my office. The food is excellent, the team is friendly and inviting, and I've always had a great experience. Highly recommended.

Tasty, fresh a great alternative to burgers and subs. They also have pitaless options like on rice or other bowl options. Fast friendly service.
