I felt I had to try out all three courses, so started with deep fried brie .oh just amazing! then I decided for the mushroom and asparagus risotto, which was the best risotto I had ever had! also ordered extra kitschige garlic ciabatta and skin on fries, but could not eat much from the side as the main was so generous. now to dessert. I struggled to make my understanding so that it is really necessary to visit again and again, just to taste the others dessert. I dropped down with custard on the cornflake tart and was definitiw not disappointed by my choice. absolutely the best meal I had eaten for a long time and will certainly visit again soon to enjoy more from the menu!
the food was super and well presented. large beer, a good choice of wein and a good selection of gin’s. the place itself is simply beautiful, many cozy rooms on several flat but open plan, full character. seemingly a family pub, with parents and step-daughters in front of the house and son’s (qualified chef) in the kitchen. Also grills at some weeks and the view of the large gardens are simply stunning. if they would highly recommend to visit, they can book a table for eating.
Visited today for Sunday lunch with a couple of friends after hearing lots of great reviews. Food did not disappoint and was absolutely delicious, great portion sizes and reasonably priced! Staff waitresses all very friendly attentive. Will be going again in the near future and I'm dying to the steak night Thanks Laurel family for a lovely meal, keep up the great work Highly recommend!
absolutely the best eating ever beats a five stars. excellent service and beautiful people who own it. where this place will hit a lot. keep it up, we will definitely be back. there was never a bad food here. many thanks to that they serve us quality eating at an amazing price. x
