We have been customers at this chip shop for years infact long before the current manager took over. Never once have we complained about the food even though there has been a small handful of times that we haven't ended up with exactly what we ordered. Being people who believe in treating people how you wish to be treated we have always been nothing but polite and friendly. Today we went to pick up food that we had ordered. My husband collected the food because of the current social distancing policies and we returned home. I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since it first opened around 22 years ago. I used to rave about it, calling it one of the best fish and chip shops in the country. However, in recent times, the quality has declined significantly. The chips are often undercooked and the kebabs are of lower quality. The biggest issue is the inflated prices on Uber Eats. Every item costs around £2 more and the portions are smaller for online orders. It feels like a rip-off when you receive a small portion of chips labeled as a large. Huge portions made this very good value for money. Chicken Tikka wrap was large and full of chicken-great value. It does get busy but didnt wait too long. Was given extra fritter by owner on one occasion. Staff very friendly and efficient. Parking isnt too bad outside on the road or next door on the shop forecourt. Lovely food.

I was surprised to see that a bag of chips had increased by 60p and the portion size had gotten smaller. I understand that the cost of living is rising, but to raise the price of a medium bag of chips to £3.50 and then reduce the portion size is unacceptable. Réservez une table maintenant

They have a great menu and cater for vegetarians. Everything is freshly made and hasn’t been sat around all day kept warm. The portions are huge, it’s really is great value for money. Our families favourite chippy. :

Called in for fish and chips 10 lots of people went in and out served after me whilst I waited for a large fish Was it worth the wait no it was greasy Réservez une table maintenant

I don’t know how they do it but their fish is just fantastic and always crispy . chips are good for me they just need 5mins more.
