We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. When we were seated at our table, there was a sign indicating that it was reserved at 10:30, which made us feel like an inconvenience. The service was very poor, despite being told that unlimited tea and coffee were included with our meal. Throughout the hour and a half we were there, we were never asked if everything was okay and had to repeatedly ask for more drinks. The Prosecco we ordered was served in unopened bottles, and the breakfast made with cheap supermarket bread was dry and bland. We were frustrated by the lack of attention and had to even ask for a napkin. When we finally left, we were not asked about our experie...
Don't sit anywhere other than the main room otherwise it looks like you won't get served. We left this time as we were waiting too long. The first time we were here the staff took ages again to get to us and only because I went up to find out what was happening. Food was alright but don't insist on table service if you can't do it! Wonderful tea rooms and cafe! The staff are friendly and happy to adapt orders to suit! Menu is extremely varied and delicious! The tea isn't the best although I am used to strong Yorkshire tea!
