We really liked the patio. The server came to our table and immediately asked if we “reserved” their surf and turf burger (burger with a lobster tail on it . We said no and she said “let me see if there are any left...we sold 15 tonight already”. (I don’t know how—the restaurant was completely empty. She came back and said there were 3 left. We ordered 2 along with the crab Mac n cheese. Then we heard her do the same spiel with another table. The Mac n cheese was good but hard to find the crab and it was $24 for a VERY small plate. The server was new and clearly being trained (she had a shadow following and instructing her) but she did a wonderful job- attentive but not hovering or intrusive. Drinks were perfect, I’d come back for just those any day. The grilled octopus appetizer was cooked perfectly (it had been recommended as a “must try” by a coworker) though the plate was drowning in this weird “yuca sauce” that had no taste whatsoever- just this mass of white pudding-like stuff. I arrived at the restaurant a bit early, only to find it closed after driving an hour from New Jersey. They had a wedding scheduled. As I was leaving, another group showed up with reservations and they mentioned that this had happened to them before. I called the restaurant to complain, and the manager said he had notified OpenTable of the closing, but I doubt it. I won't be going back.

After years of living in the the area found this nice gem. Great place with out door sitting and live music! Food was good the drinks were great! Looking forward to going back!!
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the ambiance is comfortable. I had a pleasant meal while visiting my son at Lafayette.
