The Quarter House - Réservation de table

This restaurant is off the normal beaten path but worth it. It has an unusual menu is BYOB. On this, our second visit, we took friends for their first visit. We started with the broiled oysters topped with cheese WOW. As our entrees, two of us ordered the Shrimp Creole which we both felt was delicious and an ample sized portion. My husband ordered the Tues Special which was a Beef Bolognese over pasta it was a large portion he really enjoyed it and said it was very different. This was our first visit to the restaurant. The server was attentive and the food was excellent. My husband had the gumbo, which had alligator. He loved having not many other restaurants offered. Our appetizer was oysters. They were delicious. The entrees were exception. Since the food was so good, we ordered dessert- a simple cheesecake with a raspberry sauce and whipped cream on the side. Shortly after we arrived, a gentleman began playing the keyboard and it added a romantic touch to a great night out. We will surely go there again.

Very pleasant ambiance. Great service and delicious food. We will definitely be going back. We thought it was reasonably priced for a higher end food destination. Could be a date night/special occasion place, or just a nice dinner out with the family.

eating is always good here. tonight, I had the garnels with goat cheese and louisiana, delicious. the new orle broanstpudding with Bourbon sauce was just as good. the fact that it is a byob is only the icing up. can not wait to go back Réservez une table maintenant

Table was ready when we got there. Servers were friendly and pleasant. Appetizers were very good and all 4 entrees were delicious. Would definitely go back.

We felt extremely rushed. We weren’t even finished eating and the waitress tried to take our plate away. We were in and out in less than an hour

The food very good. No ambiance They should upgrade bread and get rid if buttercups for fancier butter
