My friends and I visited this restaurant on Saturday 17th for drinks and a light lunch, and we enjoyed it so much that we made a reservation to come back for Sunday roast the next day. The food was delicious with very generous portions, perfectly cooked vegetables, and the honey roast gammon was the best I've had in years. The atmosphere of the pub is classic with simple furnishings and locals coming and going. They have a good selection of local ciders and beers. What an excellent restaurant! The staff was very friendly and provided great service. The food was amazing. We stopped here during our bike ride and sat outside, enjoying the beautiful view of the waterfront. I tried the cheese and cauliflower soup for the first time and it was delicious. My partner had the sticky glazed pork, both dishes were fantastic. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for being so accommodating. Good customer service is always a priority for me.
we were in instow on holiday and liked the view of this pub as it seemed like a “local” pub. couple of young male bar offers that were friendly and a loan to the pub. we had both the fish special of the lemon sole and it was beautiful. we sat in the window near the fire and had a really nice evening.
We love this pub - it's so peaceful and unassuming, making it a wonderful place to unwind. We often come here on the weekends to relax, and we went yesterday to celebrate my birthday. It was perfectly mellow and we loved it. The ale, wines, food, and olives were all fantastic. Keep up the great work!
