The Queens Head - Réservation de table

The food was excellent, but the service was lacking. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food, only receiving it after we asked about it. As we were still enjoying our coffee, we were abruptly told that our table was needed and asked to leave, even though we had only been there for an hour and a half. The slow service was not our fault, yet we felt rushed out. The manager was not sympathetic at all. We will not be returning, as we left feeling unwelcome. The vegetarian options were good, particularly the nut roast.

We were recommended to this pub after moving in across the street, and I must say we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We didn't feel rushed to finish our meal and leave. This place is a fantastic hidden gem in the area. We will definitely be back, and have already booked for Christmas.

We were recommended to this restaurant after the sister pub, The Shoulder of Mutton, had a booking mishap. We were so glad they directed us here as it was our first time visiting. Despite being busy, they managed to accommodate us and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning for Sunday dinner soon.

fantastic lunch in the queens head today. the best king prawns in garlic I've ever had. Roast-Rind was also great. telephoned and booked a table with a length of hours and could not be mistake-free from this point forward. we are coming back

The lunch menu was pleasant but somewhat limited. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food and service both received a rating of 4, while the atmosphere was given a 3. I recommend trying the Fish and Chips dish.

This restaurant is a beautiful spot to enjoy authentic traditional British cuisine. The staff is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. This was my second visit and certainly won't be my last.
