My friend and I went here before a gig at the Frog and Fiddle round the corner. Firstly it is a great pub even if you are not eating. Good beer in a great atmosphere. We shared prawn crackers and pork and prawn dumplings to...start which were both very tasty. My friend had a main of Koisoi chicken yellow curry with rice and I had duck breast with chilli and ginger sauce glaze plus a roti. Both were terrific and different to the usual Thai staples. It is not cheap at about or so for a main dish with rice or roti but we both felt it was worth it for the wonderful flavours.
Recommended by our AIRBNB host, we booked into the garden about days in advance. Already, the tables in the garden were all booked and our table was alongside the pub itself. All very well organised, friendly and efficient staff and an eclectic choice of...drinks. I rarely drink cider but as I didn't recognise any of the ales or lagers, it made a nice change. Sadly, although we had intended to eat, our lunch at the Curious Bistro had overrun and we couldn't manage anything. Certainly visit again when we are next back in Nam (as I heard one dude' call it
On holiday in Cheltenham and looked up good pub restaurants and found The Railway. What a find, really tasty Thai cuisine in a pub atmosphere unbelievably helpful waiting staff Friday evening, the pub was packed and very noisy, so we asked if we...could be moved to a quieter part of the pub, no problem at all, our food, and drinks were moved for us and we were shown into a quieter area and even asked if we'd like to sit near the heater We've been to Thailand many times and this is without doubt the best Thai food we've had since we were in Chiang Mai
Worse service we have ever had. Family occasion was spoilt. When we complained we were asked not to come back again, we weren't going to come back anyway. We got was a hundred and one excuses for the poor service. We had meals coming out...when we had not finished our starter. Had to ask for cutlery and all the meals came out at different times so we couldn't eat at the same time. Attitude of manager was poor

A little hard to find, but well worth the effort. They specialise in Thai food and it was really good and the beer was excellent too with local beers on draft. Huge covered outside dining area was also a big plus, both from a Covid...viewpoint and the fact it was really hot the day we visited! Friendly down to earth service and reasonable prices.
Lovely mid week meal when my family came to visit. Excellent service and the staff very helpful. Plenty room inside and people still being mindful of space, masks etc. The food was delicious. The small plates are a good portion too. Worth a visit.
We had a family meal at The Railway and the quality and taste of the food was fantastic. There were good vegan options too. The beer selection was fantastic, with taps from multiple great breweries e.g. DEYA, Bristol Beer Factory, Siren.
Lovely meal, sat outside. Very busy so had a real Atmosphere for a Wednesday night. Really helpful staff. Helped guest who wasn’t so keen in spice with great recommendations.

Prices are a joke, you are paying well over for a pint of beer they are having a laugh. Profiteering at the expense of their customers.
