The Ranelagh Club - Réservation de table

The Ranelagh Club is located on the water's edge in the exclusive Ranelagh Estate, with magnificent westward views over Ranelagh Beach. The deck is a magnificent place for a beer or a casual meal in Summer, as the sun sets over Port Phillip Bay. The menu offers good choice, the food is above average but a little on the expensive side. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful, but there aren't enough of them if the place gets busy. It is different during private functions, when the help is normally laid on. It is a very relaxed atmosphere in an extremely pleasant setting - but you will need a club member to sign you in.

Went there the other night for a corporate function thinking same old.....i was totally wrong, the views were amazing the atmosphere and decor were fantastic and the staff were soooo lovely. The most surprising thing was the food, by far the best selection of canapés/cocktail food I've had, I tried things I would never usually try because they looked so yummy and beautifully presented, and most importantly there was plenty of it, i had to stop i was so full. I plan to look into this place for my 40th, highly recommend for any function even wedding :)

I went to the club on Mother's Day for breakfast with friends whose children live overseas. The club offered a fantastic buffet breakfast with a wide variety of choices and complimentary coffee. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Despite the rainy weather, we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of Port Phillip Bay from the deck. We were so pleased with our experience that we decided to stay for lunch as well.

We held our daughter's wedding here last week and it was amazing. Everything ran so smoothly and every time we thought to question something it was already in hand. The food was delicious and very generous and the staff could not do enough for us. And then of course there was the stunning location and wonderful atmosphere just to top it off.Thanks all for a memorable night Réservez une table maintenant

Very much a casual venue that has a nice balanced menu. Worth the trip down the hill to enjoy some amazing views over the water and good food that will keep everyone happy. The service is average but is not going to have you waiting too long. I would recommend for everyone. Plan a few extra minutes for a walk along the beach.

Good spot for families and locals, and has fabulous views over the Bay. It's particularly nice in summer. The setup is particularly good for families ad it operates in a safe club setting. The food, however, is average and is overpriced for what you are getting. A place to go to with local friends, no more.

Attended a private function - a relative's birthday. It is in a wonderful position overlooking the bay. The staff were very efficient and pleasant and the pre-lunch food and the two course meal was delicious. Overall it was an extremely pleasant and relaxing experience.

The staff is friendly and the views are outstanding, possibly the best bay views in all of Melbourne. However, the food can be mediocre at times. It would be beneficial for them to update their menu. This restaurant is also great for families with children. Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant has amazing views and it was a lovely night spent with friends. Unfortunately, the meal we had was the worst ever. It was a complete waste of money. It's a shame because the location is great, but the food and service were nonexistent.

What a shame this is the BEST venue in town and the food lately has been good but service continues to disappoint.
