The Red Lion - Réservation de table

We went for Sunday lunch with four adults and two children. I had made a reservation for 1:30 PM, but we weren't seated until 2 PM. The service was extremely slow. After finishing our main courses, I ordered dessert, but once again, there was a long wait. The desserts were disappointing. My four-year-old granddaughter wanted the children's brownie, but it was stuck to the plate and you could clearly smell that it was burnt. The waitress was quite apologetic, explaining that they only had one chef. While I understand that can be challenging, there's no excuse for serving poor food. Overall, it was a very expensive and disappointing experience. Service: 3, Location: 3.

Fabulous food here once again. We went for Tapas Tuesday which 2 of us decided on, but I chose the Chicken Ballotine from the main menu, being on a gluten-free diet I am always spoilt for choice, there are always many gluten-free options to choose from. We were all impressed, as usual, by the quality of the food and the presentation of it. The staff as always were very welcoming, happy and helpful. The locals in the pub were all friendly too. The Red Lion is definitely our favourite place to eat locally. Service: 5

I visited this wonderful restaurant for a meal and was thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing, and the variety of gluten-free options was remarkable, tasting just as good as the regular dishes. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance and allowing yourself a couple of hours for your meal, as there may be guests before or after you. Location: 5/5.

Wonderful meal on Saturday evening for my husbands 80th birthday. Brilliant service by the staff .Great table and excellent food would definitely recommend it . We enjoyed the pie and pint meal, which was an incredible value. The food was excellent, and the landlord was wonderful. We will definitely be back soon!
