Excellent light lunch. Ciabatta with ham and cheese and fish cakes both hot and tasty. Good choice of draught beers and a G&T served correctly in a branded glass. Prompt friendly service. Very attractive and atmospheric interior with lots of different seating areas. Limited parking outside but easily found roadside in the village. Great alternative to the crowded honeypot pubs in the area.

Excellent pub in centre of small village. Food menu very varied and reasonably priced. Good choice of ales behind bar. Staff friendly and attentive to needs. Well recommended. Returning in 2 weeks for evening meal.
