The Reid Stone Grill Bar

Well since there are few to no places to eat in Vanderhoof you have to take what you can get.This place is hit or miss. I suppose it depends on who is in the kitchen.4 of us went for lunch on Saturday and it was a miss this time.Had a soup and sandwich that I only was able to eat just one square of the sandwich and immediately wasn't feeling well.Needless to say, good thing I wasn't on a first date or something, cause immediately had to head home because I wasn't feeling well, not just me either. And pricey for the service and 4 meals at lunch with no alcohol over $100. So maybe pick a day during the week might be better.

We make the Reid an annual stop on our way through to Prince Rupert. This year was on Monday July 18 at 5pm.I ordered stoned grilled steak which was excellent. The 10oz was $30. I also enjoyed an appetizer of ribs which was very good as well with the price at $9.95The service was prompt and very good. We got our drinks quickly and food did not take long.

We went to The Reid on our first night in Vanderhoof and then we went back the next night for a surprise party. The restaurant gave us their separate room and allowed us to decorate beforehand and we had the whole area to ourselves. The food was great and the service was fantastic. It was such a fun night! Thanks

We ate at The Reid tonight because of TripAdvisor reviews. We are really glad we did as the food was definitely exceptional.. Quality food, well prepared and excellent service! Widely varied menu, lots of interesting selections! Réservez une table maintenant

Just had dinner here. Wow! My salmon salad was delicious. My husband had steak bites & salad. He was very pleased. The only thing I would change would be to offer a crusty roll with the salads. Thumbs up from us!

Food was very good, service was good, appetizers were excellent! We have eaten here many times and always seems to be busy, which indicates to me that others feel it is a good place to dine as well.

Have had lunch here a few times now and really enjoyed the food. Had pulled duck club sandwich this last time which was delicious. Go for the soup side option and you won't be disappointed!

Excited about the new menu items! Great food as always. Staff is fantastic. Only place to eat in Vanderhoof. Unfortunately no children allowed as it is a pub setting. Réservez une table maintenant

Would eat here again, food was fantastic! Server was friendly, obviously a popular place as it was pretty full but we didn't feel crowded. Great selection of food.
