The Rex Jazz Blues

Fantastic. Stay at the hotel for four nights last week and have no single complaint. The atmosphere of the hotel is super quirky and cool, and the live music below goes up to about 10:30 or 11, so you will not be disturbed if you want to sleep. We were right on stage and the sound was no problem at all. The location of the hotel is perfect. Less than two minutes walk to Osgoode TTC Train Station and explore directly on Queen Street with dozens of restaurants and cafes. Our room was small, but we had no problems with it. Last Sunday I had a great evening at The Rex with my girlfriend watching Paul Riddick and his band performing live, They were amazing. I went back again this evening and took my daughter to see Paul and his band. Great experience again. The Rex is an old nice place, Food is good and price is reasonable. Staff are very friendly. I will definitely go back again.

Was in to see the Nathan Hiltz Trio with guest artist Bernie Senensky on Wednesday and so enjoyed the music. The Rex has done everything they can to ensure the safety of patrons. The food was good, the service great. It's wonderful to have live jazz return but it needs audience support. Nathan will be there for the next 3 Wednesdays, hope to see more fans!

The steak and sweet potato fries are amazing, the atmosphere is terrific, the service is nice, friendly, and timely. Its just small enough to feel cozy but not cramped. The drinks are a bit pricy but the food makes up for it! They host some amazing musicians I highly recommend it!

Great live music! Great covid set up. Feels very safe. The menu looks a bit dated but it's also oddly comforting. Try the lychee martini
