We had a craving for Chinese food and decided to try The Ricebox take-out on our drive home. When we got home and tasted the order it was such a disappointment. We decided on 2 Single combos at $16.50 each, which included Chicken Chowmein and rice, with the option of selecting one other side. We picked Almond Chicken and Crispy Pork which had a few stir fried veggies. There was so much sauce on the Chicken Chowmein that the Almond Chicken and Crispy Pork turned soggy. The sauce was unlike any Chowmein we’ve had…it was a starchy brown gravy, a bit of ginger along with something that tasted like the oil from frying fish. I ordered the Spicy Basil special with the beef option for meat, and there was no meat in it, only vegetables and rice. I was really disappointed when I got home and found out. I was exhausted so I really didn't want to go back to the store to resolve it. So I just ate it and went to bed. Maybe I just won't buy food here anymore. Because it would be inconvenient to open the box and check in the car if I got what I ordered before I drive home.

Terrible food here! I ordered the ginger beef and it was the toughest, blandest meat I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the soup and it was awful too. Had more sodium than instant noodles. Do not order from
