We were given the gift of a afternoon tea with gin and had the best afternoon. The food was all delicious, a gorgeous array of sandwiches and cakes. We had to take our time because there was so much to eat and we just wanted to savour all of the flavours. The best thing about the whole experience was the service, it elevated the experience to feel so much more decadent. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was very welcoming and you genuinely felt that they enjoyed their jobs, they were so friendly. Our waiter for the afternoon tea, Denilson, was great, so professional and polite. He was so friendly and attentive, he really made us feel special. A perfect afternoon and highly recommended.
This was the 2nd time we stayed at the Lowry and as part of that we were fortunate to have Dinner and breakfast on both occasions. All I can say is the food is extremely satisfying and really made our stay. The food is tasty, and presented beautifully. I must say for breakfast there is plenty of choice and a great quality! The staff in the restaurant from evening to morning are so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
We pre-booked The Lowry Hotel River Restaurant for the Sunday Lunch Deal which was roughly £30 each for 3 courses and glass of wine. I was quite impressed the service was excellent and the food in particular the Sunday Lunch very good. Overall very good but maybe the starters could be improved as quite basic but I suppose they are easy to pre-make so are quick out upon arrival. I would definitely go back again.
My friend and I went for the first time to the Lowry Hotel for afternoon tea and the experience was lovely start to finish. Definitely 5 star service. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating, especially our waiter Demilson, who was a gem. He made sure the food was to our liking and accommodated our dietary needs. Absolutely delicious deserts. Highly recommend.

One night stay for brothers birthday using virgin experience voucher. Overall brilliant slight blip in room been ready in time. Out right with free glass of bubbly. Paul at the bar was fantastic host Great sense of humour and very attentive. Evening meal fantastic and lovely touch of chocolate for brothers birthday. 5 star all round. Great room.
The most amazing, delightful and innovative food ever. I’ve been here for the last 20 years, and still surprised by the standard of the food and service. Amu and the team on last night were fabulous. I can’t tell you what a pleasure it is to go there regularly and still go home excited about the food, service and attention to detail. Thank you
We had the Sunday lunch on the Virgin Experience Voucher. We were warmly greeted on arrival and the service was very good throughout. Our waitress Whitney, was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The meal was very good and very well presented and there was a good atmosphere in the room.
Afternoon tea treat from our daughter, and day early birthday celebration. Denilson our waiter, was both professional and very friendly. The food was lovely, the restaurant and views were really good, made the whole experience just great. Would highly recommend others to visit

Arrived for checking and unfortunately the room wasn't ready. Was given complimentary drinks. Arrived at the bar to be greater by the lovely Kristin le and callum. Who catered for our needs. Very welcoming and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble.
