The Rivington - Réserver une table

The restaurant seemed nice, but unfortunately, we were aggressively turned away by a loud and intoxicated landlord as we tried to enter. Despite our intentions to spend money at the pub, we were denied access without reason. It appears that there are certain rituals and respect that must be followed in order to gain entry. If these are not adhered to, expect a heated reaction from the landlord. It seems best to visit during specific times, but we won't be returning to find out.

Me and my partner have visited several time on doing a walk around the lakes. Every visit we just can't fault the place. All prices are reasonable and certainly a lot cheaper than where we live in South Manchester. We visited this Bank Holiday on Sunday and the weather was glorious. All the food is fresh and well presented and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The location is lovely and the staff is very friendly. However, I was disappointed with the turkey sandwich. It was inedible and didn't taste like real turkey, more like processed meat. Despite this, I will give the restaurant another chance because of the amazing view and will try a different dish next time.

Always had good food and service at the Rivington. Staff are so friendly and helpful too. ! Lovely comfortable atmosphere stsffare very helpful and patient very welcoming.

Absolutely spot on! The staff are delightful, the venue is brilliant and the food is delicious ,well cooked, well presented and so fresh, definitely the place to visit
