The Robinson Ale House Asbury Park

My friend’s vegetable bowl was delicious and huge. My lobster roll was good but I didn’t expect the lobster to be fried when the menu says poached. Homemade potato chips were good too. Food took a half hour to come although people got their food served before us, and they sat after us. After I asked the waiter where our order was, the waiter and the manager said that the kitchen was busy (it was Zombie Walk) but again people who arrived later got served before us. Also it would have been nice if the waiter had refilled our water glasses more often.

We brought our out-of-state visitors here for lunch and had a wonderful server, excellent view and delicious food. The service was friendly and attentive. Our meals were very tasty and satisfying. Will definitely be back to sample more of the menu and bring more friends/family!

Loved the vibe, the service, the decor. Live music was a great surprise. Food was fine, but nothing to write home about. Cheeses on the cheese board were generous but pretty average. Bun for my burger was gross (maybe it was gluten free by mistake? so I ate it without the bun.
