I am giving this restaurant 2 stars because the server was very nice and friendly. However, the overall experience was not great. The alligator bites appetizer we ordered was delicious, but my partner was not satisfied with his chicken avocado sandwich. He found it to be dry and lacking the extra avocado he had requested. The Bajon fries he ordered were supposed to be topped with a gumbo sauce and crispy fish, but they were missing both elements. I ordered the ribs, which were okay but on the dry side. The loaded potatoes on the side had carrots that were spoiled. I brought this to the attention of our waitress, who agreed they were bad, but the kitchen didn't believe it. No compensation was...
This restaurant was absolutely terrible! The parking lot was empty for a reason. The prices have gone up and the portions have shrunk. My border catfish was completely raw, so I basically paid $15 for a plate of fries. The shrimp tacos were also disappointing. The tomatoes lacked flavor and they need to bring back the old sauce. I spent $95 for a meal that only fed 1/3 of our group of 4 people. Just the night before, I had high quality food from another restaurant for $100 that fed 8 people and we even had leftovers. I ended up throwing the border catfish in the trash.
beautiful place since I was there. the ordered chicken fried steak and it was tasty, but not at the price. in texas roadhouse it is twice as big and 3 dollars cheaper. kartoffel and green beans were very good and I am not a greener bean man. a friend had fish tacos and said if he had a fishstock, it would have been more fish. for me, fish are not in a taco, so no problem. another couple on a diet would share a meal and said wait staff, but they never got an additional plate to share! the rest of the orders looked good. the staff was very friendly.
Sausage and chicken gumbo is my go-to at this place. It is a REALLY good gumbo (although this time a little too salty). I think it’s high priced for lunch. The staff is great, and the place has a honky-tonk vibe to it. I’ve had shrimp tacos, which were good, except I’d use something other than a “Tupperware tortilla”. PoBoys are good as well. You have to try this place out.

absolutely enjoyed every inspection of our visit here! the young lady who looked after us was fantastic. take our orders (4-top) without order pad. all details right! the food was so good! everyone enjoyed it. if they are in the opposite, they do one like. I take it, they also have a beautiful dance floor and I say they have regular live entertainment.
I ordered the crawfish 50/50 and it was absolutely perfect. Our table also tried several appetizers, all of which were excellent. We left feeling very full and satisfied. The cocktails were unique and delicious too. If you haven't already, give this hidden gem on the outskirts of mid-county a try!
good food. the service was ok. our waitress became the bar tender and we never saw her again. the cleaning material used was very strong and smells like chlorox. no kovid here.
My preference is for a more flavorful etouffee. This one was watery tasting. Could not detect any green pepper; nor nuttiness from their roux.

I had the best bbq crabs. My aunt had the oysters she loved them.
The food is not that great. Waitress was very nice.
